Here is a glossary which I will continue to add on to as the site progresses. If there's something you don't see here that you would like to know about, let me know via PM.
Darkness- Also known as Shadowstuff, or Dark Matter, it is a substance that will infect and consume any living creature it encounters. It takes over the creature's body, turning it into a Shadowbeing.
Darkness Infection- Well, it is rare for one to be infected and not die. Usually, when you come in contact with darkness, it infects your body, killing you as it takes over, turning you into a shadowbeing, something similar to an un-dead. Very painful, and deadly. There are few(no names mentioned, unless you want a spoiler!) that as soon as they have been affected have had the luck of being with a healer that is skilled enough to put a shielding spell on the infected area. The one who suffers through this is affected such that their arm, or infected area, is now undead, though making it much stronger then regular. Their mind is affected as well, keeping the dark taint the darkness leaves, making them prone to dark and violent emotions.
Darkwell- A tear in the fabric between the different realms, allowing darkness to seep into the mortal world.
Drakyn/Dragonkind- The class of dragons, divided into sub-species: Kyrene, Kyrill, Kysiin, and Kylar ((see Gallery for Kyrene)). They are also known as Ancient Ones, for they are older then even the Lorren. Long ago, after the destruction of the Drakhyr, the Dragonkind decided that, like the Lorren, they would leave the Races to their devices, despairing at the wars and destruction that was happening throughout the realm. They disappeared, and some say that they retreated to their homeland, known only as the Dragonlands. No one knows where it is, or how to find it.
Drakhyr- An order of dragonriders from legend, they had a special academy for those who became dragonriders.
Fallen, The- The Fallen, powerful entities that once traveled the five realms freely, were cast down by the Gods, for they were constantly at war one with another, creating chaos wherever they went. The Gods placed them under a mandate, that they would come to the mortal realm to signify the ending of an Age. Omens of Death, War, and Destruction, they bowed to the will of the Gods and bided their time. Once the Age began to end, then they would appear. Only the One can command them. It is said that a fourth entity followed the Three when they were cast down, to appear once the new Age had begun. No one knows the Fourth’s name, or what it will bring.
Familiar- An animal, usually a small animal, that shares a magical bond with a mage. They aid in spell-casting, and are close companions to their mage.
Five Realms- There are five realms in all, bound by darkness and light. The five realms are: The Mortal Realm, Netherealm, Immortal Realm, Dream Realm, and Realm of the Dead.
Garnog- These creatures are scaly beasts that live in caves and dislike the sun. They eat mostly raw meat, or scavenge, and have a hatred for Juna, who pushed them out of their old caves in the Mistwind Mountains, forcing them to live in the Barrens. In appearance they are like a mix between a lizard and a spider, having slimy scaled skin, a weak tail, four legs reversed-jointed, and weak arms with long claws on the four fingers. They have narrow, long heads with four eyes and long fang. Their bite is poisonous, and can cause hallucinations.
Guard of the Moons- An elite force of soldiers that were formed long ago by the Moon Goddesses to guard the rulers of the Triumvirate, and most especially the line of kings called the Stormhawks. They also have a spy network that is the best in the Realm.
Kinaerian- A reclusive race of underwater beings, distantly related to dragons. They are known for their beautiful structures and sculptures. They are distantly related to Dragonkind, and share a special bond with their cousins of the air.((See gallery))
Lorren- An ancient race that has faded from the Realm. They were tall and mystical, with silvery hair and pale, blue and silver-tinged skin. They were masters of the Power, and could even control Pure Magic. Their homeland's location has been lost. They are known for their prophecies, especially the famous "Prophecy of Auriendil", which foretells of One who will save the Realms from a dying Age, and bring about the birth of a new Age.
Lurker- An ocean-dwelling predator that can grow to be larger than a full-grown Kinaerian. Though lacking in intelligence, it is a ruthless killer and strikes very quickly.
Main Pantheon/Deities- Symbolized by the two moons and the sun, the three main figures of the Pantheon are the Sun-god and his two sisters, the Moon Sisters.

Moon Goddesses: Aelvir and Rianys
God of Dreams: Oranius
God of Death: The Grey One (his name is unknown)
God of Chaos: Scyros
Goddess of Earth: Lorraina
God of Fire: Faeros
Goddess of Air: Tairie
God of Water: Obariun
God of Trickery: Thakken
God of War: Tauron
Mordauk- Lords of the darkness, they can pass between the Netherealm and the Mortal realm through gateways built from darkwells.
Raogga- An earth/rock elemental, it is a creature of rock that is slow to think and move, but is very powerful. It can be summoned by darkcallers or summoning mages of high levels.
Triumvirate-A leader from each Race that together rule the three kingdoms. Once one dies, the current Triumvirate is dissolved and new leaders are chosen, one from each Class.
Yaxon- a bovine-like creature that is valued for its pelt and its meat. They live mainly in the desert, though a sub-species has been seen in the northern mountains, and are herded by the Raihu. Yaxon have a thick pelt with a thick, spiny pelt with a sweeping, brush-like tail. They have curved horns and tridactyl hooved feet and a sharp beak. ((See Gallery))
