Sooo...it seems to me that this whole market thing isn't working so well. The fact is, nobody wants to spend their hard-earned gold on things they can simply roleplay into existence. So here's the plan: I am going to either remove the shops completely or thin them out drastically, and significantly increase the amount of OOC rewards. Does anyone here have any emotional attachments to the current state of the marketplace? If so, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Personally, I think we should keep it. I never use the shops, but I still encourage members to use it. It's a perfectly good practice to RP the purchase of necessary items. The prices are more than fair - almost scandalously cheap, IMO - and it will make RPing more realistic.

I agree, I love RPing the purchase of items. in fact I think my herb stock might be running low again xD
I prefer Roleplaying the entering of a shop and bantering with a shopkeeper to the simple "Can I have X item please." "There you go" routine.

Zach here. I've been muted by a Raihu claiming to have been paid by Rudo to silence me. Makes enough sense to me. The big guy probably thought he was a hit for hire, coming from the "Silencer" name the Raihu carried. Rudo's none too pleased, apparently. |
